Absolutely not.
From a woman who admits she says things she thinks will amuse her friends, and who realistically has very little credibility, I would say she is about the worst choice you could pick.
Of course, Bush touted his ability to be a "uniter" and proved to be anything but.

Anyways, the only difference between her and George Bush is that Coulter would tell you how she feels with her words. Take the Katrina situation. While Bush didn't act hastily enough, Ann Coulter will TELL you why she wouldn't do anything for the Katrina people. Her answer would probably be something like, "Those Blacks need to pull themselves up by the bootstraps," or some other garbage. At least Bush did SOMETHING, even though it was 5 days late. Coulter wouldn't have done CRAP!!

She is not the only person qualified. She is qualified though in the strictest sense with age and residence requirements but her need to present things in the tone and style that is her own does not add to diplomacy. For diplomats the carrot is often more important than the stick, whether the stick is needed or not.
Those who do not like Coulter never ever point to any incorrect facts in her books as there are almost never any substantial ones, only minor ones that all authors have made. It is her style of attack that scares her allies and foes at the saem time. But I dare anyone to find a material fact that is incorrect that she states.
