Why are republican voters less educated and less intelligent than democrat voters?

they are far more intelligent, informed and rational than the lefties.

Advanced degrees do not mean more intelligent. After all, it is mostly within academia where the belief that communism can work still lives. And that's an ignorant belief.

wrong. Its ironic you are making a point about education but cant even read a poll accurately.

The dispersement of education is of a higher level with the republicans. You miss completely the fact that they polled more democrats than republicans.

If you look at the demographics by experience relative to education, age, income, family or no etc... you will see that the very young, the poor people not marrie and the least educated voted democrat most often.

The truth is that the Democrats poll well with the un-educated and the over-educated.

The former look for gov't to take care of them from cradel to grave and the latter desire to be the chosen ones in charge of the litle people who depend on them. It's symbiotic.

Normal people, in the middle ranges of education work for a living and know that the Democrats' socialistic schemes do not work. There ae some things so ridiculous that only an academic can believe them. Witness the famous NY Times headline "Despite rising prison populations, crime rate goes down."

I would seriously doubt that any such conclusion could be drawn from one source, especially one that has such strong ties to the Democrats. I can hear you complaining if Fox said the opposite, it would be biased. So why do you believe that CNN is not biased. Is it because it favors your ideology?

To make such definitive statements, you need more studies, and ones from independent sources. And this is for one election only. A very poor sampling which only goes to discredit any veracity you may have had. Statistics can be used to prove whatever you want to prove anyway, so your whole post is pointless.

I have a Master degree, advanced medical training, and multiple other certifcations. I would deem my self highly educated and I vote republican in the last election. I would look closer at the data collected. Was it collected in red or blue states? Cities, or rural areas. The demographics most likely have a bigger role than the education level.

Nice link, I kept that one. The part I find the funniest is that you see questions all the time in YA about how Democrats are jobless, have no money and are living off of the government. I've always thought those that say that garbage are idiots themselves, but it's nice to have a link that proves it.

because many of your people with these "advanced degrees" are professors who have never dealt with the real world, or people who got degrees in fields that generally dont interface with the real world, like art and political science. obtaining a practical degree like engineering or business requires logic, and logic dictates that one should not have to share the fruits of hard work with those too lazy to work
