Most sportbikes are about 6ft long, as i can barely close the tail gate on my shortbed truck with them in it. Obviously you can leave the tail gate open if your bed is shorter than six feet.

I'm 95% sure it'll fit in the bed of your truck. My buddy has a 2004 Avalanche and his 1975 Triumph Trident 750 fits in the back of his truck without having to drop the tailgate.

Ride it home. Have a friend drop you off. You will probably drop the bike trying to cram it into an Avalanche. Sheez.
Plus, why would you buy a bike before knowing whether or not it will fit in your truck before you plunk down the cash?

How long is the bike and how big is your bed? Go to the website for Honda, and check out the specks for the bike. Then go to the owners manual of your truck and see how long the bed it. If the bed is longer than the bike it should fit, and if the bike is longer than the bed, it won't.

The key to having your new bike in the back of your truck is not the length of your bed, the bike will fit in no problem, it is having good tie downs. Make sure to have two tie downs on the front forks, compressing the front shocks. I would actually leave the tailgate down, and for extra support put two tie downs on the back of the bike.

You need to go to the psychic section. There will be people there who know how long your truck bed is without you telling them.
