I use shaw high speed internet in the rural area.
It's said that i am given 60 GB/month data transfer, and now i only have 1 GB of that left, i think it's because i watched tonns of movie clips on youtube recently.

So i got 2 questions:
1. How much of this 60 GB/month data transfer does it take up when i watch a youtube clip say between 3min to 7min??

2. Is it possible to check how much of this 60 Gb/month data transfer i still have left on my computer??

NetLimiter Pro 2.0.9.1
NetNak 2003 v1.0.1

These are two free programs you can get on www.download.com to track you internet usage.... one of the things to think about is its not only the big files that use up your GBs every time you even connect to the internet at ALL your computer is always sending out little PINGS asking hey am I still online... and the server is answering back yes yer still online..... So with a connection like the one you got you want to make sure to ALWAYS TURN OFF your computer when not in use... this will stopp the little PINGS.... now that being said the pings are only 1K at most there are 1000K in one Megabyte and 1000 Megabytes in one GB soooo the pings are very very small usage BUT every little bit helps.

1. There is no way of knowing. Video compression can make the file large.
(A 3 minute high-quality viewer is bigger than a 3 minute grainy, low resolution video)

2. contact you're isp
