I still have a corded phone, but we only use it when the power is out and the cordless ones don't work. My grandmother is the only person I know that still has a corded phone.

Cordless, corded phones are good for the bedroom while you are laying in bed. I like to walk around doing things while I talk.

I use both. I keep the cord phone in case the power goes off, then i could still use the phone. With a cordless, if you loose your power, you have no phone.

All corded. Never a battery to run down or die.

I do have a headset unit that is cordless and recharges in the base station. Corded phones are getting scarce but they are very inexpensive. Usually only one or two models at department stores.

Cordless phone in living room and corded phone in the bedroom.
I can still use my corded phone if the hydro goes out,but not the cordless one.
