I see alot of comments/questions on here about men liking women in pantyhose, but in almost all cases, the women say they're 'granny-like' and not in fashion. But from what I see by alot of the answers, it seems a large percentage of men like them on women.

So women, I hear they're uncomfortable, right? Aren't high-heels uncomfortable too? I'd sure think so! But most women I see out or at work wear them!
So it must be more than just the comfort? It must be the look or the image it portrays? It seems that only the women portray pantyhose as old-fashioned or granny-like, but very few men do?

I don't get it!

Women dress for other women. Yes we like to know that men like how we are dressed but in reality, another woman is more likely to notice what we are wearing than our husbands, boyfriends, or men on the street. I like it when my husband likes me in certain outfits but I don't care too much if he doesn't like a certain article of my clothing. For instance I have a really cute pair of shoes that I love. Others have complimented me on them and I know that they look good with certain outfits. He said he doesn't like them but I wear them anyway when I want to because I like them.

yes comfort is a factor but so is health. pantyhose tend to cut off the circulation and are also a known cause for women prone to yeast infections. Heels have become more comfortable over the years.
It's easier to kick off a high heel than peel off pantyhose! Not ALL men like them. Alot prefer a bare tan leg!

Women most definitely care more about what women will think. It is women that know more about the various fashions - and tend to either put down or raise up women that wear fashionable clothing etc. At times, women do care about what men think, but think about how many times you are dressing yourself and you are thinking, " I wonder if ___ will be wearing the same color - I'll have to wear something even brighter/bolder/sexier/more conservative".

I dress to my own comfort. Not to please anyone! I don't like high heels, I prefer to wear kitten heels or low wedges! I wear pantyhose but I'm kinda clumsy so they often rip. I think they give you a finished look. In the hot weathers I would opt to go for bare legs.

I wear what I wear because I LIKE IT, and I really don't care what another person thinks about it. I think most women don't like panythose because they aren't really in style anymore. At one time it was considered a a trend to wear them, but I think it has faded out. But older women still wear them because that is what they are accustomed to doing.

Some women compete with other women for looks. Sadly some oof these looks are not desirable to me. I like the women who try to look good for men.

Women dress to impress women more than men. Competition.
