is it better to have something else ,than have nothing there?what an awful reminder for the families.

I personally don't think it's nice having another building there but what else could they do with the space, it's a vicious circle, no matter what the area will always be associated with the tragedy that happened.

I don't have an issue with it.

I feel that the reminder for the families is when they wake up every day and their loved ones are not there. It doesn't take a building, or lack thereof, to remind them.

I think they should be rebuilt in the same design, the towers symbolised NY and the skyline was recognised all over the world.

Rebuild them, honour the fallen!

I think the people behind this are more concerned with giving terrorists the finger than worrying about how the victim's families feel.

It's overdue. Every time our enemies see that empty hole they're reminded that they scored. Time to move on and show that we have that resolve.
