Of course, no party is ideal to anyone (although you'd never know it with all the partisan bickering that goes on in here - myself included...). It's just picking the lesser of 2 evils.
I do agree with your "party-line mantras" being hypnotizing though. I really seems like people just keep repeating what they hear people in their party saying without ever really thinking about it or researching it for themselves.

Yes. BUSH is dead wrong about the Mexico border. But he can't close it cuz that's were a lot of Gov jobs exist. From the firearm tobacco cops to the border police that pray that NO prez passes laws or their in the unemployment line with the very Mexicans they made a career trying to bust.
Most of our drugs come from here so the blacks in the inner cities would lose their sources of income and with all our Jesse Jackson PC bullsit. Our cops are not equipped to handle the me lay that would ensue upon "proper society" with the loss of the drug trade.
Basically, by closing making the country more secure. It really would make us address some sensitive issues that we CAN NOT do now. We have bigger fish to fry.
I wish I could have spent some more time with spelling and punctuation but gotta go to work.

Yes I disagree with my party.
For example I am a dem but the only immigration reform I support is the US rounding all the illegals up and shipping them home.

I completely disagree with Bush on many things. McCain is a dem with an "R" next to his name. Anybody that is for amnesty is totally wrong.
I am not a robot because I can think for myself!

All the time. I hate the war-mongering conservatives, the type that likes to see war happen for the sake of war happening. I hate the uber-Christians that mix God's teaching with politics and morality. Church and state are separate for a reason. If you're a Christian, I expect your faith to influence your decisions, but don't tell other people what policy should be on account of what "God wants".
Edit: Here's another one. Discrimination is wrong in all forms. I'm straight, but it's wrong to oppress gays because they're different. I think what they do is downright disgusting, but hey, it doesn't impact me. Let them marry, adopt children, whatever.

This assertion of a query actually is going the two procedures. It makes for long hours of meaningless debates that get nowhere till you count quantity will improve in stages of aggravation.
