Only when I'm in Hard water areas because the water there makes me ill even when filtered. I personally don't really like the taste of bottled water though I filter here at Uni and at home we have pretty good water plus recycle all the bottles cans etc that we can .

Yes, I drink bottled water, but there are two sides to every story. The consumption of bottled water also has benefits. It stops you drinking the unnecessary fluoride that's in most tap water, as well as animal and human effluent, chemicals and aluminium from the pipes that causes Alzheimer's, etc.

I only drink bottled water in countries where drinking tap water is not recommended and at home I fill a jug from the tap and put it in the fridge so it's always cold.Did you know that some bottled water actually comes from tap and has nothing added or removed from it?

I hadn't given it extensive thought, but really, is bottled water causing much more trouble than other bottled drinks? Drinking water is more healthy than soda, so unless you are willing to cart your own bottle around, you need to buy bottled. I personally just make a conscious effort to recycle, thereby decreasing the impact on the environment.

We drink bottled water. Sometimes I'll get the 65 cent jugs of water from the grocery store and refill my bottles instead of buying new ones. But I've heard that the plastic bottles are no good. I'm going to start using glass bottles. I recycle everything anyway.

After reading, maybe we should use a filter to re-fill our glass bottles. Thanks! :-)

I live in London, I only drink bottled water because tap water has things floating in it. When I live somewhere where tap water is good then I don't buy bottled water.

the best thing to do is get a big pot, fill it with water from your sink boil the water on the stove for at least 15 minutes pour it in a bottle, put it in the fridge and drink is (the water not the fridge)

Nope, I usually just drink from the tap or something, but this has really opened my eyes. Who knew that bottled water could be so harmful to the environment? Wow.
