Would you get up to change the channel or sit there and watch whatever is on?

Shut off the TV and find something else to do. I could easily use a week with no TV. And with the current weather be happier outside.

1. I would buy a new remote.

2. In 1979 when I just got married I could only get channel 12.

3. Depending on the station just as if I had a remote watch if the show you want is on this station or change if it is on another station.

4. This is how we did it for years.

5. Would I be able to change the channels on this TV I have never tried.

I may not even have the energy to turn the tv on in the first place never mind getting up to change the channel.

I'd spend the next 30 minutes looking for the remote, or I'd turn the tv off. I hate flipping channels by hand.

i WOULD TEAR THE HOUSE APART UNTIL i WAS A SCREAMING, SLOBBERING MESS. I wouldn't be able to settle down to watch a program as long as it was missing....I would be hell on wheels with whoever was around unless they were helping me find it. This would be a household emegency. After I found it, I would turn into CSI remote control, until I figured out who lost it. That person would be in BIG trouble!!! Then I would tie the remote to the coffeetable with a chain and lots of duct tape. Then there ain't gonna be no problems no more. Lose the remote? My a*s*s.The h*e*l*l you say.

If no one is around to change it for me, I watch what's on until it gets so annoying I change the TV channel myself.

But I will admit my tolerance to watch something annoying is greatly increased if I don't have a remote.

I'll hunt around for the remote until I found it, which could be several minutes, and I would change the channel till it was found
