Well obviously not. To take a non Partisan position, both houses of congress the lobbyist that line their pockets have done a wonderful job delaying steps to try and combat this problem.
This problem will be here for a long time. If taken seriously and steps taken immediately, by the end my life MAYBE, JUST MAYBE this problem might start to be reversed.

everyone one on a computer right now is also contributing to global warming...have you driven anywhere today lol? we all do. if you haven't switched to alt energ sources yet...check out http://www.cleanenergyfunds.org/Funds/ to see if your state is participating..it costs like a dollar more a month to get your energy from renewable sources. rent "Who Killed the Electric Car". BUY LOCAL. al gore did not cause global warming lol. but the burgers that are obviously in his belly did. look it up..Agriculture creates a staggering amount of methane..those vegetarians are saving the planet lol..not but really ..buying local is the way to go... google it for your area..farmers markets organic... local is better because it doesnt have to be transported by fossil fuels. this answer is obvoiusly more for the people reading this than the asker...
REMEMBER: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GLOBAL WARMING..The truth is..we were already on an upswing in a natural cycle of more CO2 in the environment...so what if we are only making it worse...SO what is that it is going to affect our lives in monumental ways..and that is why we NEED to do something about it.

ummm al gore is trying to help us prevent from a disaster from happening. Yes the planet at some point will break apart and we will all die. We need to protect our environment now or never before we perish sooner then later. We need to respect other species of life like polar bears & dolphins. Global Warming is happening but we can decrease it by recycling and take it seriously. Wind power & hydrogen cars this will cause less toxic gases from going into the ozone. We humans are destroying our own planet and we don't even know it , we don't even think about it but its true.
