The Congress has no real power to force the President to do anything. If a President does not comply with the law, the matter can go t the Supreme court. If the president does not comply with the Supreme Court he is risking anarchy in the country and probably economic collapse as the world loses faith in the value of US Currency

we've not easily complete some thing and performance easily made it only so that they are even extra depending human beings then in the previous . Iraq could finally burst into an complete civil warfare and the shortcoming of life toll could upward push larger than it had when we were no longer there . The Shiites will proceed to be really in complete administration of the authorities and the Sunnis will attempt to regain that administration . maximum those which could will move out of the area and ultimately Syria and Iran will partake in coming up an excellent extra sectarian field . even with the reality that i don't think that the insurgents will be solid sufficient, after how al-qaida has been dispersed, to attack us . also the Kurds may be sure to split . oh and the theory that we are going to leave by technique of march 2008 is absurd and is purely being presented because it truly is what human beings opt for to work out , no longer by way of the indisputable fact that's a obtainable decision . the reality is that with the intention to get out of Iraq you opt for to a minimum of make it so as that the various communities are easily represented which there is little wish because the perfect time the Iraqis were forming their authorities the Sunnis did not partake because they believed that boycotting it can be extra valuable for them .

That deadline is dead because of the Presidential veto. The bill can not become law without the President's consent. His vetoes can be overturned by a 2/3 vote of the House and Senate.

Then we will be there for who knows how long, spending billions and billions of dollars more. This bill to FUND the troops is going to be vetoed and Bush will blame the Democrats for not funding the troops even though it was passed in the Senate today. 2 Republicans voted for it. What does that say...? No Democrat voted against it. The independents were spilt on this issue. It is sick that Bush would rather play politics than to fund the troops like he says he wants to do

The bill will be vetoed.

Congress will get together and work it over.

The next bill submitted will drop the deadline.

The President will sign it.

Things continue as they are now.

nothing!

these are non-binding resolutions.

remember this when bush cuts off funding to the troops.

bush is going to veto money that the troops need because he's basically a spoiled, arrogant fool who's best argument amounts to saying 'it's my ball and we're going to play my way or no way!'

this is not the attitude i expect from the leader of the most powerful nation in the world.

It will be vetoed so it's a moot point.
