It depends what kind of person you are, if you are a busy person getting e-mails every second of every day it's best you do check it. if nobody knows your e-mail then it's best to wait a month and let it pile for 5 or 6 e-mails from good friends

nope not the snail mail i like to let it pile up for a couple of months then i take it all out and take a roll of tape and make a house with them...that reminds me this month is about over with,i'll be right back i need to check my mail

Always. No matter how busy I am I make a point of checking what is there. Might not be able to get to half of them but at least I know if there is something important there waiting for me.
