I don't think it makes any difference though, as Africans treat most people the same way regardless of race or colour. I am an African and it I can't understand why the majority of African Americans not make use of the vast opportunities they have at their disposal, also African Americans tend to believe they are better off than the Africans, making funs of their accents. I guess that kind of comes to the fore when dealing with each other but it does not mean we do not like them.

Some do some don't. I am a first generations Nigerian-American, my parents were always open to people apart of the African Diaspora. I have A LOT of African American friends along with Africans and other races.

It seems like they don't. Yesterday I was riding the BART (Bay Area Rapis Transit, I live in San francisco Bay Area, it's our version of the subway) and these loud, obnoxious African-American highschoolers/teenagers were being really loud and starting fights with each other, and this man who looked Ethiopian (I'm pretty sure he was, I've met a lot of Ethiopians and can tell them apart from other Africans and African-Americans) was glaring at them and shaking his head and looking horrified, probably cause the black people in Africa don't act the way some of them do out here. Also, my friend who is from somewhere called Batswana, in West Africa, said she does not like living in Oakland, in a certain section she named that is predominantly African-American, because she thinks it's too loud and the people are rude.

A friend of mine is Black and African, and she said sometimes the Africans say racist things about her and other Blacks. They have even excluded her from a lot of African events, and her aunt does not want her hanging around her daughter. So I guess some Africans don't like Blacks.

the question is why do african americans call africans...african booty scratcher lol. look everyone in this world has a bit of hAte in them. lots of africans in black high schools in america get singled out, beaten up and ridiculed for their accents by black americans.
on the other side africans view black americans as lazy, ignorant, no drive, no ambition, slackers with violent tendencies. I JUST PUT OUT A BLACK SECRET HAHHAH

I am a real African. I like them as much as I would white people or asians, it really just depends on the individual's personality but generally I find a lot of them to be hostile toward me and my fellow Africans, I am not sure why. This causes me to be averse to the explicitly hostile ones but the rest are fine. If you respect me, I respect you right back, same as human beings of all other races.

I have a few Africans at my work place and they tend to think African Americans are lazy and don't know how good they have it if they would just work hard. I didn't say that they did
