Anyone who disagrees with the President, is a terrorist!

Now, look. Don't hate me. I'm just paraphrasing Medved, Limbaugh, Hannity, Reagan, Savage, O'Reilly and many others in the FOX News team.

You mean, why is Congress doing what the Constitution requires them to do? Or do you mean, how dare Congress assert that it is actually an equal branch of government?

Ignoring how irrational Cheney's statement is (the one you're quoting)..... Congress has sole power to allocate federal funding. That's their Constitutional obligation. It's not something the President can do under the Constitution. He's not a monarch, despite what he thinks.

So, the idea that Congress is betraying American because they are doing what the Constitution explicitly makes their sole province is irrational. And the thought that they simply have to roll over and do whatever the President wants is a perverse distortion of what the Founders intended when they created separate branches of government.

LOL. the democrats got control of BOTH houses because the voters were sick and tired of a war without end. They are now representing the desires of 70% of America by telling IRAQ you need to get your act together and be ready to take over security for yourself, America will be done babysitting you on Mar 31, 2008, be ready or accept what comes.
GWB is shoveling more of his bushaganda again only fewer people are buying it but I see his efforts were not wasted on you..

Well if this is truly the case, shouldn't you - as a patriotic American - being doing something about it? Giving aid and comfort to the enemy is an act against the great state of the US...and you should be doing something about it, shouldn't you?

The Senate is acting in accordance with the will of the majority of the American people.

Since it's been a long time since they've done that, it's hard to understand.

But that's what representative democracy is SUPPOSED to look like.

i'm not sure which part of this you are having a problem with.

an overwhelming majority of americans support the senate in this move and many think it's not nearly strong enough.

your statement makes no sense unless you regard the majority of americans as the 'enemy.'

they dont care if we lose in iraq, they are just trying to get votes in 2008.......letting liberals control our national security would be fatal.....little do they know, that they are setting themselves up for a landslide defeat in either 2008 or 2012. The president is finally starting to call them out for undermining our troops and and progress we are making in the war on terror

Folks-------this man is 100% right-------it is time to get angry and energize everyone we know and get their heads out of the sand.
The news media "SHOULD" be screaming their heads off over this issue-----------yet they are silent----------why?----------communists first infiltrated hollywood----then the news media----and then the halls of congress------why? because we were too complacent-----we need to get involved-----check to see how out senators and out house representatives have voted----and take it to the polls and get good people elected-----------a wise man once said: "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing."-----we can change things---- Change won't come fast or easy---but together we can do it------Let's Unite!

Why is Bush supporting terrorists? Why is Bush not supporting our troops? He asked for, and will receive every dollar he requested for the war and he threatens to veto it? How unpatriotic, how un-American George.

I wouldn't mind if they established a date and kept it classified, but establishing a date and spreading it around to the entire world, including our enemies, is just plain stupid.
