Companionship. Someone to love and to settle down with and to build a future with.

I will have to say a combination of things: 1) a person LIKE their mother - before others get sick opinions in the head just consider that your mother is probably one of the biggest influences in your life and has probably molded you into who you are, 2) a person to share common interests with - this allows for actually spending time together and growing closer together 3) a person who is Ying to your Yang or complementary traits - sometimes it's not healthy to be exactly like your partner and we become better people through learning from our own mistakes. Above all, a wife is there to tell you what you WANT to hear as well as what you NEED to hear. p.s. almost forgot to add 4) sex - in all honesty, in terms of WANT it will be near the top of most men's lists.

I know all my husband asks is that I love him, be there for him, be proud of him, have fun with him, and help clean the house on Sundays with him :) also someday have children with him. GOOD men are hard to find, but they are out there! I feel badly for people who dont have what I have :( My friends husband cheats on her all the time and me and my friends all know about it and she wont believe us and he denies denies denies.... I dont think he will ever come clean, but thats b/c he is a LOSER who doesnt deserve her.

everyone's different, with different wants and needs, so don't worry about what men want, just worry about picking the right man for you.

So you need to be right with yourself before you can be right with anyone else.

Be completely self reliant, job, car, education, savings as your future husbands should be in the same position

Then you need to find some who's right with themselves.

Have the same goals in life and want the same things outta life

Hope this helps

My wife is my best friend, girl friend, lover and the last love of my life

were newlyweds going on 12 yrs. now

You would have to ask every single man on the planet what they wanted. But that wouldn't pertain to you and your husband. The only way for you to know what HE wants is to ask HIM. But for me, I want a best friend, a lover, a soul mate, and that naughty girl when the time is right. Just be open and yourself and it will be great.

For the people who think it is just for sex is pretty pathetic...and single girls? If that's all you have to offer you will continue to be single for a long time. Just being honest. No offense.

Someone that will love them, accept them with their flaws, and be true, kind, sincere, and give of themselves, and share their lives good times and bad times, a life partner.

Love, companionship, someone to trust, honesty, loyalty (not cheating), similar interests, input (my wife and I share ideas), and yes sex too (with or without toys).
