It worries me because I know I am pregnant because of the three missed periods, the nausea, the tests, the hormones (!!!), the cravings, etc. But, although I am 5'8" and weighed about 145 before pregnancy and now weigh about 155...I don't look pregnant at all...which worries me. Should I worry? Does this mean anything? I just want to be able to have a healthy baby.

I have gone to the doctor already, take my prenatel vitamins already, and have taken my home tests, and tests at the doctors office.

BTW, I may be just twenty years old but, I am bringing this baby into an extremely loving family...with both a mother and father and that's the least I can say about a lot of people now-a-days.

(sorry hormones are crazy and one answer in particular got me a little peeved)

Every person is different and every pregnancy is different. During my first pregnancy i started showing at 4 months, my 2nd pregnancy i didn't start showing until 5 months. I gained more weight my 1st pregnancy then i have so far in my 2nd. So i would not freak out to much, but maybe check with your doctor to see if the baby is just small.

No, you shouldn't be worried at all!! Some people just carry differently. When I was pregnant with my first daughter I didn't start showing until I was about 23 weeks and then my belly started popping out overnight! By 9 months I was huge! I now have a healthy 2 year old I'm sure everything is fine! In no time at all you'll be complaining how big you are lol! Congratulations!

Don't stress yourself out! I was 20 when I had my first and i actually lost weight due to extreme 'morning sickness' throughout my first trimester. 25lbs to be exact. I was so freaked but the doctor kept reassuring me everything was okay. I did start gaining but didn't really show until my 7th month or maybe even later. I worked at a bank and none of my customers knew i was pregnant till right before i was put on bedrest at 8months.
Good luck and don't worry! That belly will be here before you know it!

Honey, What worries me is that you never mention that you did the home pregency test, or have been to the Dr. yet.
At near 3 mo. you need special vitimins and a check up. Please take care of yourself, so that your baby will be healthy.
I had to grin as I read your question. About your not showing. Good for you. I have had 5 and I don't know how women like you can do that. I always felt like I showed the day after conception. ha ha. I enjoyed all of my pregancies. I hope yours will go well. God bless you & Congradulations~~~Jill

nope, nothing to worry about, at 11 weeks a baby is only about 7 cm long, sorry, dont know what that is in inchs, so it is still very small, im on my second pregnancy and both i only started having a tiny bump at around 12 and half weeks and at 4 months its a bit more noticible. up until 6 months no one could really tell i was pregnant at all.

Just relax most people do not show around this time. Wait few more weeks. I'm in the same boat too I'm 11and 1/2 weeks pregnant too the only way I feel pregnant is because Y'day at my doc's appointment I saw the scan. Atleast you have some weight gain. I have not gained any weight inspite of eating all day lon. hope this helps you.

Don't worry, most women don't start showing until about 16 to 20 weeks. If this is your first child it will be later, I know some people who have had kids show sooner. Trust me, there is nothing to worry about and it's totally normal. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and don't show at all either. Just think of it this way...your uterus is still down by your pelvic bone and until it starts to grow up and out of that area most people don't show. Take care and congrats on your impending little one :o)

Don't worry ! First, the baby takes up the space that is already inside you, this is why you notice the difference in pounds. Only AFTER that , the baby needs more room as he\she gets bigger. Then it will show as your skin begins to stretch and your organs adjust themselves to accomidate the "new addition " You won't show right away, no one does ! Relax, you don't need the added stress ! Good luck and congratulations !!!

Your baby is only about 4 inches long.... that doesn't take up much room in your belly :)
I am almost 17 weeks - and I barely am showing. I am about 5' 4" and normally weigh about 128lbs. I still haven't gained a pound.

Don't worry - in a few weeks, your belly will start to pop out :)

Congrats :)

11 1/2 wks is kinda early to be 'showing' some pll can show but those tend to be ppl who have had kids before. My first 2 i didnt show til around 6months.... Tho i have never been one to 'eat for 2' when im preggers. hehe Im 24wks and only gained 6lbs with this one.. Baby is growing perfect so weight gain isnt an issue thankfully cuz i was more worried about that. But i think you will have a bit before you will show.. especially if its yer first.,
