it is national hairdressers weekend...sunday and monday, If they were closed on Saturdays then they would loose alot of business because that is when the majority of people are off of work! unless you go to a cheaper place like great clips etc....they are open 7 days a week.
hair dressers need a day off too!

I'm not sure why this is in the Amusement Parks category, but most bars, taverns, etc... where I live are open 7 nights a week.
As for Hair Salons, since some people seem to think this is what you are asking, they are usually closed Sunday & Monday for their weekends.

I don't believe they are. But if so, it would probably be to take a 2 day weekend, Sundays being once a mandatory closed day due to the blue laws, and Saturday would be too profitable to shut down. Same as barbers.

many salons are open on Saturdays to accomidate patrons for thier days off. So they can have 2 days off in a row they do sun&mon. I myself work mon because it is quieter and I take 2 days off in the middle of the week.

That is the day they go to the wholesale dealer and is the least busyness day of the week.
