The Sun is an illusion - PILOT
The Sun is artificially created from a laboratory that is under Guang-Zhu province which I think only the Chinese people know about - Senator Lara, CA.

Louis Armstrong was a musician, Neil Armstrong landed on the moon.
With current technology and even technology that is in the near future we have no way to get that close to the sun. many of the obsticals that they would have to over come is: several different types of extreamly deadly radiation. The sun has no solid surface. The gravity of the sun itself, because if you stopped moving or weren't moving fast enough and you were that close to the fun you would be sucked right in. The intense heat of the sun. The sun is hot enough to melt any known object known to man.

Got your Armstrongs confused
Neil landed on the moon
Louis was a musician
Landing on the sun? Well it's just a ball of really really really hot gas. It'd be like trying to land in the middle of the air somewhere, and then there's the fact that it's roughly 10 million degrees. You'd be extra extra extra crispy before you even got close.

The surface of the sun is way too hot for a manned landing, not to mention that there really isn't a solid surface to land on. Louis Armstrong did not go to the moon, NASA wouldn't let him take his trumpet on the mission. His nephew Neil stepped in and took his place.

The sun isn't solid and nothing organic could survive the heat and radiation. btw Neil Armstrong landed on the moon. Louis Armstrong sang about the moon,

Louis Armstrong never landed on the moon, Satchmo landed in Vietnam. And the sunlight is a ball of tremendous-warm plasma, with none solid floor to land on. or maybe sending a unmanned probe into that is outermost layers is at present technically no longer achieveable. No human will ever land there.

id gasp too if louis armstrong went to the moon but it was neil who made the trip and as for landing on ht esun, that would be impossible because A) its over 11000 degrees F. B) theres no solid land mass anywhere on teh shiny gas ball, C) no material yest has been invented to withstand such intense heat, D) we would incinerate before reaching it.
we'd ahve a better chance to land on mercury than the sun

The sun has no land and is a big ball of hot gases. The surface temperature of the sun is nearly 6000 degrees and no material known to man as of now can withstand that temperature. So, your question is romantic speculation and has to remain a fantasy.

Wouldn't his trumpet melt ? What would be the point of the mission , even if you could ?
Seriously, the first lunar landing was with Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, July 20th 1969.
