No plan and no randomness, but a very complicated system of natural forces that makes things happen. That's what I think.

I don't think there's a larger plan, but it's not random either. The physical properties of the universe came into existence during the first few seconds after the alleged Big Bang. What we observe in the universe today follow from those physical properties, and:
a) the odd fact that in the early universe, matter was more likely than anti-matter
b) the alleged Big Bang didn't distribute the matter evenly (thank goodness)

I believe there is definitely a plan but that the plan can be infinitely variable! After all, we are all making choices everyday, and every choice each of us makes affects not only us but the whole universe, because we are all interconnected. I also do not believe that ANYTHING is random. I KNOW that my soul has a purpose and that my life here and now is about fulfilling that purpose and achieving my true destiny, which is to be one with the Father.

I believe it's random. If I thought that my crazy F@*$ed up life had a purpose, I'd be alot angrier than I am now.

Pretty much random. I don't believe in predestiny. I believe that each one of us is in control of his or her own destiny. I believe that there is a God, but the last place you would find him (or her) would be in a church. Having a supreme being be in charge of our future would really be kind of pointless. We each possess free will and collectively, it will create our future.

"I can't believe that God would expect us to choose the one true religion by blind faith alone... it seems to me to be a sloppy way to run a universe" -- Kurt Vonnegut from "Cat's Cradle"

I think that the human brain has evolved in such a way that it is compelled to try to find patterns and designs. I think that it imposes patterns and designs where it cannot find them.

I think it is a random universe.
