I have been working 5 years now in a small Gas station.. We have no Public Restroom... Everyday I tell this to our customers, they threaten to sue our store. I am wondering if Service stations are required to carry restrooms.. Is there a law about it?

I have a family owned gas station and we have restrooms for the convenience of customers. The key word being customers. Don't think it is your right to walk into a business, use their restroom, then leave without making even a small purchase. People today think they should have privileges they do not earn. When you stop at a gas station only to relive yourself then do not make a purchase you cost the business money. Keeping a restroom well stocked with everything it needs cost money and it can be expensive. The toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and water. The cleaning supplies. The toilet cleaner, glass cleaner, the bowl scrubber brush, and the floor cleaning solution. All these things you purchase for your own bathroom and you know how much it cost you. So think about how much it would cost you if hundreds of people were using it seven days a week three hundred sixty five days a year. That's why some places won't offer a place to relive yourself. It's because people think it is their right to waltz in a business use their things then waltz out. Your taxes do not pay the gas stations bills. If you're too cheap to make a small purchase then keep driving to a rest area where you do split the cost.

if you had a clean restroom for thecusts how much more business would you have?
I wont fill up my tank while traveling till I am sure I can use the bathroom
why would I travel a hundred miles only to need to go to the bathroom and get gas and you have gas but I am supposed to piss all over myself?
you call yourself a service station?
I know the real reason why you dont have a restroom
years ago when you bastards had a 2 people system you have white only and colored only bathrooms and water fountains
The fed gov made yall stop using a white only bathroom so you know what you did ? you just said from now on we wont give them a bathroom or a water fountain.
Thats a sorry *** way to live your life my friend
do you need a law to get your sorry butt to give me a place to piss? think about it.I will make a deal with you just go ahead and put the white only sign back up
that way I dont even have to bother pulling in to your worthless station

So the answer isn't any.

I don't know about any laws, but it seems that if you want repeat business, you should take care of your customers.
