This was the topic of my science fair project. Although I didn't get to finish [b/c my LOUSY Biology teacher left in the middle of the school year] it was interesting.
I tested 10 people and all but one little girl, who's about 7, got all three right! It was funny to watch her get them all right while her grandmother insisted she had them all wrong.
I did the test about the third day after I bought the sodas. I believe that distorted the taste. Hey...there's something else to discover...

I'm sorry! I didn't make that clear! The little girl was the only one that got it right!

Amber's keeping me on my toes! My name is Amber, too! Anyway, the taste was distorted b/c I had opened the sodas. And by the third day they started to lose their fizz.

So all but the little girl got the right or all got it wrong but the girl? I could tell the difference.... I can tell when someone brings me a soda in a cup and I hadn't been told what it is. Why would using the sodas after you had them for three days distort the taste, unless they were opened prior to the testing. Sodas sit on the shelf for a long period of time and are just fine.

I can distinctively tell the difference between Coke, Pepsi and a generic cola. I've done dozens of taste tests and I'm proud to say to this day I've never gotten one wrong!
The irony? I rarely drink soft drinks! lol

I could definitely be able to tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi. I grew up in a Coca Cola house and we still are to this day. Kills us that our youngest son would prefer Pepsi.

I'm sure I can tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi, but the third soda might put a wrench in it for me... I could see myself mixing that up with Pepsi.
Interesting!

Absolutely! I have a strong preference for Pepsi, and I could totally tell the difference! Isn't it funny though, how things taste different to each person?

I've done the challenge and chose pepsi which is my fave(diet). Coke is sweeter, even diet. Haven't tried one with another kind of cola.
