I think you mean "when did the Black Death occur?" The Bubonic Plague, in biological terms, is a specific kind of disease made famous by an outbreak in the Middle Ages. The word Bubonic refers to the swollen and tender lymph gland, called the "bubo" which a sign that someone has been infected.

Basically the brunt of the bubonic plague was between the years of 1347-1350 where 1/2 of the European population would perish.

In addition to those years already mentioned the plague never went away.... it would manifest itself in small ways every 50-100 years. It still shows up occasionally - Chinese immigrants in San Fransisco in the early 1900's was the last significant outbreak I believe.
