I will be honest, lol, so have I . Not just to see if I got a thumbs up but to give a thumbs up or down for other answers.
At least this is what I say to myself , so that I don't have to acknowledge how vain I really am , Sigh ! It is so deflating to see when they don't even consider your answer worth it to give you a thumbs down...lol my vanity has made me sink so low, and yet ..I wait and then I hear it ding ding I have mail. I rush over to check and someone does love me ..lol.. they did not give me a thumbs up but they picked my answer as the best. Good luck on your ratings and hopefully you will hear a lot of ding dings. Oops "RUSH OVER" who am I kidding I have been sitting waiting All Day! just kidding , hmm well no not really sorry .

I do it all the time too. My husband and I compete to see who gets the most thumbs up as well as best answers.

Never thought of it. I figure I get an email when my answer is chosen as best answer and I have gotten nasty emails from people that didn't agree with my answer, so why do I need to make an effort to see what people thought? If it bothers them enough they let me know, if they like it enough they let me know.

I do sometimes...like if I put a lot of time and effort into the question!
I think it's natural to want to see if others like your answers because it shows you know what you're talking about and not just talking to talk.

I do. I think it's a good way to tell if you have a stalker or not.
And keep on eye on those contacts.....you never can tell about some people.
