Never say never, stranger things have happened.
As for myself...I don't come out and say "I've got a crush on you" in those exact words. I think it's made known by the other things I say.

Hey, if you're single and not in a relationship, then why the heck not? I'm assuming that by his/her questions and answers, you know enough about this person to know that you like them. But what makes you think that there is no way the two of you could ever meet? Stranger things have happened. You never know what might happen unless you do. What have you got to lose.

I would probably let them know that I was attracted to them, but I'm not sure that I would tell them about a crush. That just seems a liitle too much for someone you have never actually met.

I would be too embarrassed to tell the person, plus I have a partner and know nothing would ever come of it. I would be flattered if someone had a crush on me, but I don’t think there’s much chance of that happening lol. Mind you, I did have a stalker for two years, but that’s another story.

Living in Boston that may be hard if the person in question is allergic to seafood. Lobster, shrimp, and real crab that is. If they serve escargot, mussels, oysters or clams then it is fine. The first date may need to be at a chicken shack. Tell them and make sure they have no allergies.

Well, I could but then knowing I would never meet them would feel odd and further, the awkwardness it would create while on YA! could be too much to handle.....my answer must therefore be, I don't really know if I would.

how can you know you'll never meet if you never give that a chance? :)
me and my partner met over yahoo and another chatroom, flirted and etc for about a year, and since then we've been together for about 2 1/2 years now, if i had never suggested it, i'd still be alone.
nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say.

Why not? you'll never meet them like you said... so really it doesn't matter if you have a crush on them or not, it won't go anywhere but your messenger screen.
Good luck!

I'm with Juan here, I think that I would let them know and not hold it in. Of course, that would only be if they asked. I'm not sure I would give the information voluntarily!

Of course. We all need love and affection. The biggest regrets in life are the opportunities we let pass by.
