Studies have found that a seat belt on a bus is actually more dangerous .
I would imagine they would also be more dangerous on a train just like a bus.
On a motorcycle they would be a death wish !!! Just imagin yourself strapped to a scud missile. When it went down would you want to be there or would you want the chance to get off before?

Because it would cost too much to put them on buses and trains.
On a motorcycle a seat belt could easily kill a rider, imagine going down and being tied to the bike,c'mon.

My motorcycle went over on its left side and went sliding (I don't know why). I was able to push away just as it hit. It slid 15 feet. If I'd been dragged along with it, I would have been injured.

Personally, I think the whole seat belt law is just a way to bring in revenue disguised as something to "save" our lives. Plus you can't pay taxes if you die in a car crash so it's a win win situation for the politicians.

I've never understood why they don't have seat belts on buses, especially school buses.
As for bikes you wouldn't want one because (apparently) it would be much more dangerous for you to be strapped to your bike in case of an accident.
This website explains it pretty well I think

Good question. I think that it ought to be a matter of choice whether to wear a seat belt, and that laws about seat belts need to be repealed.
