lest I rememeber, "what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul"? Quote from my favorite Liberal.

It's all relative.

Considering that 75% of the world lives in dire poverty, one could argue that nearly every American fits in the "haves and have more" category.

The manner in which those in the richest nations currently enjoy their wealth at the expense of the poorest nations is really no different than the way the citizens of the city of Rome enjoyed their wealth while the Roman Empire was enslaving the majority of Europe.

We are shocked at the moral depravity of the past even as we turn a blind eye to the wretched injustice and poverty of our own times.

Once again we will begin economics 101.

Capitalism is not a zero sum game. In a zero sum game there would be, say, 10 people with 10 dollars each. In order for one to gain one dollar another must loose a dollar.

In capitalism, wealth is generated. Value is exchanged. If I have a product you need, you pay me some value (dollars) I give you value (the product). I am richer by dollars and you are richer by products. If you are, indeed poor, in a capitalist system you have a choice. You can stay that way or you can improve your position.

If the highest rate you can earn is $6 per hour that is what your labor (value) is worth. It doesn't have to stay that way. You can improve your skill level or get better educated or even start your own business. The system allows everyone to find his or her own level of success. Do nothing and you will remain at a low level of success. Make good choices and increase your value and you increase your level of success.

None of this is permitted in socialist countries. Everyone is equal. Equally miserable.

Second line..."We" would indicate to me that you consider yourself in the have not column. If that being the case and I were to put myself in the "haves and have more" column," is their something wrong with me being in that column?

Have I committed an unpardonable sin by having worked harder, saved more to get to that "haves and have more" column.

What do you consider as "support to continue?" Have I committed another unpardonable sin by having employee's? Eather way, to be in the "haves and have more" column, is only obtainable when people work together.

Yes, I have more and I worked my Damned A** off to get it!
