Of course they're evil. That's the whole point. Evil is invisible. You cannot defeat an enemy you cannot see. We need to protect ourselves and let the Iraqis worry about themselves.

I'm not an American and the Liberals here are actually the ones on Bush's side. *Waits with anticipation for the next election*
But I know what American Liberals are and I know I'd probably be one if I lived there.
I totally agree that terrorists are horrible people and are doing evil things to innocent people! But by going into war, Bush is in a way doing the same thing. Trying to get at the bad guys, but hurting more innocent people in the process.
Terrorists do need to be stopped...but the Republican ideas about stopping it are not the answer!

There is no such thing as objective evil. The Christians sent 12 thousand children out to die in one of the final crusades as well, so strapping bombs to children and sending them to die is nothing new.
The terrorists are highly abusive, this is true. But they are no better than what Bush is doing - not what the white trash of this country thinks he is trying to do, but what he is actually doing. Bush did nothing more than invade a country, and remove a non-secular, genocidal leader from a country populated by secular, genocidal monotheists. In removing Saddam Hussein from power, The US and the allied forces have tripled the murder rate and killed more Iraqi civilians in the past three years than Saddam Hussein killed in the previous twenty years - and we don't even have the level of control Saddam had yet. It has become the exact opposite of what we wanted to accomplish, a veritable breeding ground for insurgents and terrorist organizations.
We are going to have to turn into 5x the monster that Saddam ever was in order to make that land a peaceful one. And the sick thing is you people actually believe that once everyone in the country supports your beloved President, that he'll suddenly turn competent and somehow pulls a victory out of his drunken ***.

Of course they are evil.
You conservatives constantly try and conflate any opposition to the Iraq War with liberals supposedly supporting the terrorists.
But the thing is, I don't believe that the war in Iraq is reducing the number of terrorists but increasing it.
How many terrorists are we capturing every day? How many terrorists are there in Iraq now? How many more young Iraqi men are recruited by the insurgents every day?
We don't have the answer to these questions. And if we don't have the answer to these questions, how in the hell can we justify keeping the troops there with no clear objective, no coherent mission and no end in sight?

Liberalism has been infected by socialism. In socialism, there is no God. There is no God because God would represent a moral absolute. Socialism justifies its actions by determining what is best for the collective even at the expense of the individual. This, of course, runs contrary to any sense of fairness or morality we know. The belief that every individual is endowed by his creator cannot be tolerated by a socialist government that would just as soon kill twenty people for the benefit of a hundred.
So to establish a more socialistic society, you must exclude all moral absolutes such as God, such as good vs. evil. This is why liberals are left trying in vane to always find a gray area. In many things there are gray areas but not in issues of moral importance.
This misguided belief that there are no moral absolutes is what causes the liberals to attack religion with such vehemence. This clouds their thinking and causes them to defend the indefensible or make rationalizations which equate our actions to the terrorists. It is called moral relativism. To them, there is no good or evil only perspective.
They are wrong. Dead wrong.

I agree and we'll be fighting these zeolots for a long time ,now its your turn to admit bush and cheney are evil idiots and we need some real americans in the whitehouse doing the business of the working middle class .by the way liberal really refers to more open minded thinking ,stop fighting with fellow americans while these cons run our country into the ground

This liberal will admit that she never claimed that the terrorists were not evil. Why you need to make false claims in order to get the point across that you do not like those who lean left is beyond me.

I have never heard or seen anyone disagree with the fact that the terrorists are evil. But evil comes in many forms. To us they are evil and to them we are evil. The simple fact is they see us as infidels on their sacred land and they want us out. Once we are gone they can fight amongst themselves, who cares? It will be settled by the people of that region as it has for over 3 thousand years.

I sure hope and pray that they will wake up one day and realize terrorists are evil. We'd be out of Iraq already if it wasn't for the terrorists coming in trying to take over Iraq.

No they are "Freedom Fighters" to quote a far left blowhard. Cindy Sheehan. I feel for her loss but most of what comes out of her mouth is an insult to our country and our soldiers. And I think her son would be ashamed of how she has acted.
