Champ Bailey is the best pure cover corner in the league right now. But guys like Asante Samuel, and Chris McAllister are right there with him. That's just naming a few names. There are many others as well. As for the second part of your question you can't compare Deion Sanders and Darren Woodson as they played two totally different positions. Deion Sanders was a Cornerback and Darren Woodson was a Stong Safety.

Champ Bailey is the best CB in the NFL today. All time would be Mel Blount of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Steel Curtain era.

And Darren Woodson was a strong safety and Rod Woodson was a free safety.

Champ Bailey is the best in the business right now. Terrence Newman is under the radar - not the best but give him 1-2 more years. I also have to say DeAngelo Hall although TO did straight up dominate him.

All-time: Too tough to tell. Darren Woodson wasnt a CB he was a Safety. Deion - hell no, i loved but he certainly isnt the best. Darryl Green is up there. Charlie Waters. Rod Woodson. Alot of them to choose from.

The current best Cornerback in the NFL would have to be Champ Bailey. Throwing in his direction is just asking for an interception. Whatever side hes on, you go throw to the other side. When he gets better at rushing the QB and run stopping, he will be a one man defense. As of right now, Champ Bailey is the best Cornerback around.

Best in the business right now, by far, is Champ Bailey. Runner ups would definelty have to be DeAngelo Hall and Ronde Barber. Barber is getting up there in age but he can still keep up with the young pro bowl level recievers. And Hall is the future of this league. Fastest Man in the NFL and some of the best skills of any defensive players. He talks the talk, but he walks the walk.

All-Time best DBs. And no one said Ronnie Lott. Ronnie Lott is definetely one of the best, if not the best of all time defensive secondary. Im gonna have to say that he and Deion share the title of best DB of all time. Lott is a hall of famer for a reason, watch some old school highlights, you'll see what im talkin about.

Champ Bailey is the best cover corner in the NFL today.

Deion Sanders was the best corner in the NFL for a few years...certainly not all-time.

Darren Woodson didn't play CB...he played SS. Get your facts straight...
