I normally have a 27 day cycle. Today is 29 day cycle I am TTC and have had a peak temp for 9 days. Yesterday I didnt get much sleep before temping. The day before my temp was 98.2 and then it went down to 97.5. Well, I had more then 3 hours sleep today and it was 97.9. Could my day have been off yesterday and right today and am I still in the right number range to be pregnant? I dont want to test yet.

Hi,

i did temperaturing for two years when trying to conceive...but in the end it was totally innacurate!!
If you are normally on time then yes you have a good chance of being pregnant...do you have any other symptoms? you could try a kit!
i know Drs ask you to do the temp as I said I did it for 2 years and the graphs but it really didnt give a clear picture at all, and Im sad when I see people talking of doing it, its misleading! I would go on the dates more...

Loads of luck!

I personalyy have a good exprience with charting. I have a very clear temp shift and even though sometimes temps can be off because of sleeples nights, night of drinkin etc. the big picture is very clear. I think it depends ont he woman and I don't understand why some one would be "sad" when they see people do it. Do whatever works for you.

So to your question, I think it's still possible that you are pregnanat. You said yourself you didn't get much sleep. I would wait and see if your temps remain high and take a test in a few days. I tested positive 12dpo with a First Response test and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. Good Luck to you!

Lets not jump the gun here.. home temp taking is not very accurate when your talking .4 or .5 degrees difference.

Not to mention it might only be as little bit (0.1 or 0.2 degrees), if you are pregnant..
It is an indicator but is not definitive of pregnancy. In other words sometimes the temp can stay raised but you might not be pregnant.
