It depends on the point, and how important I think it might be for the well-being of me or the recipient.

As a rule, though, I'll go as far as making sure I understand the other person's point, first..and then decide whether mine deserves more air-time or not. :)

...and then I'll go on and on and on and on...

I have a tendency to over explain myself and my points of view so I will go on and on to prove a point till someone just gets so tired of it they agree or end up getting mad

I have a stopping point. If I have to go beyond what I am comfortable with then I realize it isn't going to do much good anyway.

I just state what I know and if it reaches,then it does.But after that,I let it go.There's no point in beating a dead horse. You can't MAKE people believe or understand what you say.They either do or they don't. It's called free will.

It depends on the situation and whether the other person gets it. My ex - not long at all. Finally figured out - he'll never get it. Otherwise longer.

As far as I have to, as long as I know that I'm correct. Plus it doesn't help that I'm super-competitive with just about everything.

On general issues, not too far. If people aren't interested, I don't waste my time.

On parenting, I will go as far is it takes.
