I wonder if we should give up on those we love who wont show love for us!

I honestly wouldn't compete for someone's attention or love. It's to exhausting, and a waste of time. Why try and be with someone who doesn't want to be around you, you know? Go out with friends and meet other people who will WANT to be around you etc....you'll see and FEEL the difference and how draining it can be. Go for it!!
