well if i knew my child was having sex or wanting to have sex in the 8th grade then i would be strict too. You dont need sex when your 13 and your parents have every right to be strict.

Well you have to think about the reason why you would do this. The decision, Its a big one it can change you intire life not to scare you but having sex is not about just pleasure, is the union of two souls and you migth not be ready or willing to deal w/ da consecounces that involve this whole deal.
This is one way to cut your life short so just think long and hard.You have a lot of time up ahead to do this later dont be in a rush life is way too short try to take it slow.Whatever you do deside make it the rigth one for you.

8th grade!!! honey, i think that what you fail to realize is that you have the rest of your life to experience things like that. your parents probably know best for you, they have been looking out for you since birth. they just don't want you to do something you could potentially regret. sex is not something anyone should take lightly. i am still in high school and still haven't had sex. knowing that i have the self control and that i don't need anyone else to make me feel important is something i take pride in. i know that there are a lot of people who do have sex at such a young age and if you really determined to do so, you could too. but if someone gets pregnant for it, you will miss so many chances later on in life. don't throw your life away for one moment in time because i assure you that it will not be worth it.

You're in the 8th grade..you don't need help, you need abstinence! There are a lot of things that could go wrong at your age that would make you regret ever making the decision to have sex now. I know you haven't considered all of the potential consequences, because I didn't at your age. So, here it is short and sweet - don't screw up your life! What are you, about 13 0r 14? Look, there is no rush to have sex at your age. You need to be patient. Someone your age who wants to have sex without knowing much about it can be risky. If you are not cautious, you could end up with a baby while you are still a child yourself. This would change your life dramatically.

As for your parents, I do not think they are being strict, they are just being parents and just looking out for your best interests.

Get you some KY jelly and handle business yourself until you are 18 years old-PLEASE! You have way too much future ahead of you to throw it away because you think you want to have sex. Yeah. So, a baby before you enter high school is worth it to disobey your parents? Getting a disease that you may or may not be able to get rid of is worth it to disobey your parents?

Your parents aren't strict. They love you. They want you to concentrate on school and leave sex alone until you are old enough to handle all the emotional implications and responsibilities that go along with it. They are obviously not opposed to sex, because they had YOU, and they are still together. Sex in and of itself is GREAT-but there is so much more to it than just the act itself!

Until you CAN handle all of that, keep your clothes on, your mouth shut, and your hands in your pockets when you are with the person you think you want to throw your future away for.

Alright stop and really think about what your asking...ARE YOU ready to give up the time you spend with your friends because you wont get to go to parties or play sports when you get to high school, no more playing video games or sitting around on the computer or waching tv because your attention will be on your baby, are you ready to get a job and have all your paychecks go to a baby(all because you wanted to have sex...nope no money for your car) are you ready to change dirty diapers, wake up all through the night, have someone depend on you 24/7. trust me there are tons of things you would be giving up if you did have sex ESPECIALLY AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE seriously don't hurry and if your friends are doing it let them change their lives but don't go and end yours, you have so much to experience and seriously you should really wait on having sex until your much older and understand the consequences a little more.
