Once theyre sitting up they tend to try to reach for things they cant get and eventually she'll end up on her belly and go from there.

Some babies never crawl.

Dont push it. They do it on their own.

Many babies never crawl. They just go straight to walking in due time. Some signs that they may be ready to crawl would include rocking on there hands and knees and inching around on there bellys trying to get a toy that is just out of reach.

lots of arm and leg movements, excitement at seeing other kids moving, starting to sit assisted or on their own. It is very important for hand eye coordination for babies to crawl for at least a month, tummy time is a great encouragement to crawl, also exposure to other crawlers will help. Once the baby can lay on their tummy and lift themselves up on their arms, you can start helping them bend their legs and get up on their knees, this starts building muscle memory and teaching them how to do it themselves.

They will usually try to scoot around when placed on their stomach. Arms and legs usually will flail somewhat while in this position.
