LOL... lock him in the bathroom with that smell.. I bet he'll learn to use the damn toilet like a normal cat..

You might not be aware of this but there are classes in behavior modification that would teach him not only to do that but also the importance of doing it. They really do work well with a 96% success rating.
They only drawback I have found is they are a little pricey. You just have to ask yourself if the convenience and your cat himself are worth it.
