people say i dress like a whore and everything because i love short skrtis and short. Tube tops etc. I like it becasue i feel good in it and i love people looking at me

try something a little less revealing keep the short skirt but wear normal tank tops,k

You need attention. Would people notice if you dressed like a business woman? Or a man?..Play up what makes you feel good- you can look hot and wear what you like without enticing everyone to have sex (which is what a whore does.)..If you like it; wear it...but would you want your mom/little sister/handicapped child/teacher or other person seeing you this way...if that would be fine then o.k.
You can dress hot without showing everything..you should not be upset when people develop an opinion..I think you are looking for the shock reaction that you got. Why are you surprised?

People will get the wrong impression no matter what you do. But, I can say that the way you dress is a way to tell others who you are. I'm not tyring to be arrogant but, if you dress that way, you will be portrayed that way. If you see a person with rags on and torn shoes, wouldn't you portray them as a poor person? That's pretty much the same.
P.S. You can be just as beautiful and noticed if you dress appropriate. Yeah, people may be looking, but that may be that they are wondering how a person could dress that way. Would you rather for someone to look at you as a piece of meat or someone who's attractive and intelligent? Think about it!

I hate to admit this, but yes. When I see girls/women dress like that, I think of it that way too, or trashy. You can still dress nicely and enjoy how people look at you =) It also sounds like maybe a self esteem issue. If you're young (early 20s or younger) than that might be expected. I'm in my mid 30s and I'm very comfortable with myself, I haven't worn a miniskirt in forever, and I'm 5'3 130lbs. My point is, if you're comfortable with yourself etc, you don't have to wear those kinds of clothes to get people to "look at you"; they will on a more respectful level when you're confident with yourself =) Best Wishes!

well if you got it flaunt it. Who cares what people think if it makes you feel good do it. If you like the attention great there is nothing wrong with that. The reason some people won't like it is because they think you are looking for sex but guys will also think you are looking for sex too. Some of them also might be jealous because you are getting all the attention.

Yes, that is bad. It might be nice to have people look at you and all, but it's for all the wrong reasons. Trust me, you do not want that kind of attention. You want to get attention because you are a good person and take the right actions. Dirty old men looking at you are not thinking nice things....

it depends on how you want people to look at you. looking like a whore is not a good thing. did it ever occur to you that they are looking at you saying.........wow what a whore? you can wear nice cute clothes without looking trashy. how you dress will also determine the type of men you attract, trailer park convicts in my book.

You are only a whore if you have sex with a lot of people... but people do catagorize others by how they dress, and if you do not like being called a whore maybe you should'nt dress so provacatively.

theres nothing wrong with wearing short skirts and shorts. its all about how you present it. for instance, i love low cut shirts that gives me cleavage but i dont advertise myself as a "hey im horny, r u?" type person. i think that if you dont want people to say those things about you, mayb try offsetting the skirt/shorts with something that wont draw attention to just that item that make people assume those kinds of opinions.
