This is a fit case for dissolution of marriage on the ground of Adultery coupled with cruelty. Claim maintenance & alimony during the pendency of such a divorce proceeding as well after the passing of decree of divorce. Make a complaint under section 498A of Indian penal Code for inflicting cruelty on her, & demand place of residence or protection order under the latest Protection of women against the domestic violence Act, 2005. If he has preformed second marriage with full religious ceremonies applicable to him & she has proof of this she case files complaint against him for bigamy under section 494 Of Indian penal code. If it's an illegal marriage, then you aren't man and wife by law. To protect yourself, and any children you may have, contact an attorney like others have said. The best bet is to do everything to cover your bases and protect yourself as much as possible. :)

What do you want to do? Get back together? Bother him? Get money? Whatever your goal, there is a social worker, lawyer or judge that will help you do it. Or, in some cases, you can just do it yourself.
What you should do, depends on your goal. Be honest with yourself. Then you won't do the wrong thing. Don't ask all your friends or people here on a forum -- we don't know your inner thoughts and motivations.

its against the law so what she should do is file for divorce and take everything he has as it should be filed for irreconcilable differences you also need evidence as it will substantiate your claim like hire a Private Investigator to take pictures of him and his new family that way when your in court you have everyone on the wifes side and she gets everything if he has anything
I knew this one arabic man that would gloat about having a second family and felt bad he even have the balls to comment on it. What a jerk take em for all he's worth.

If that lady is educated then she should first of all take some proper job, call her relatives and friends to bring back her husband to her fold. If still she is unable to pull him back. Just collect the avidences of his ill legal affair and file for divorce with proper compensation. She should first try to protect her child from the results of this break up and after getting fully settled she can rethink of getting in to fresh tie up.
But she is to ensure to herself that she does not gets in to sexual relationship with any one before getting married or she would screw her child.

Turn him into authorities. It is illegal as you already know to be married to two people at once. Bigamist have no morals. Teach him a lesson.
