Hi the Grand Canyon is well worth the trip and if you have time it is a great place to stay for a couple days and see all that it has to offer. Grand Canyon National Park is really nice and the views are just amazing. Plus there is also so many actitivies. I havn't been on the new walk yet but, heck yeah I would go! They also have a lot of other things to do on the reservation. They have some really cool programs where you get to stay the night/few days and do diffrent things, horse ridding, hiking ect...yoiu also get to experience the Native American Culture. Check out the website you would not believe all the information and stuff they have!

I've only seen the new walkway on the Internet but have been to the Grand Canyon several and it's a 'new experience' each time. Magnificent beauty, absolute wonderment at how this vast area has been carved out by water throughout many years. The colors are mind-blowing and if you have the time, take a hike down into the canyon (also donkey's available for this trip) and spend the night. The trip back up is a witch but it's worth it. An awesome journey!!

The Grand Canyon itself is definitely worth a visit! It's amazing - pictures don't do it justice, it must be seen in person. Is the new walkway worth it? I don't think so. It's about 3 hours away from the South Rim's Grand Canyon Village (it's in the middle of no where on a dirt road), and the cost is quite prohibitive. For just two people, it sounds like it's going to be about $70 to get on the reservation and get out onto the walkway. I live in Phoenix, so I may head up there one day to see it, but not anytime soon.

The skywalk just opened today and dont waste your time...it costs $50 just to get into the park and then $25 to walk out on the stupid thing.....you can get the same effect by just looking out over the edge or walking down into the canyon and thats free. But the Grand Canyon is definitely worth the visit.

Well, the Grand Canyon in PHOENIX is a bit of a let down. Oh wait. There is no Grand Canyon in Phoenix. But if you head north, you'll find it and yes, it is spectacular. So is anything of that magnitude. Even the hiking areas and the indian homes cut into the moutainside up around Sedona are impressive.
