am contemplating of taking a wife younger than my age, any comments? you may point the disadvantages for me and for my future partner.

"Get a wife younger" ??? -- How about "Marry a younger woman"!!!!
It really depends on how much younger... sure, you can argue about sex drive, but that too depends on the woman!!! You may be surprised to learn that older woman like sex too!
Just be sure that she is 'into' older men.... you aren't getting any younger yourself, ya know! ;)

When I was 54, my 27-year-old girlfriend moved in. That was two years ago, and we have decided for a number of reasons to go our own ways. The reasons are different for each of us, though we both wondered about them when we started. It's been a good 2 years, but it would not be a good life relationship.
She: wants kids, but not to adopt. Me: I'd rather not be 80 when our kid gets out of high school -- too much energy! The smaller things matter, too, but none is a deal-breaker like the issue of kids.
The biggest other thing I notice is that it is impossible to explain some things, because of the difference in adult years between us. Some things cannot be understood, regardless the intellect. They must be experienced. She's smarter than I am, but less-experienced; that creates a little tension, too.
Since you didn't mention the actual ages of you and your girlfriend, it's impossible to know whether any of these particular arguments makes sense; but you get the idea. If there is anything wrong before marriage, it won't go away after. Resolve to live with it, or move on. Both of you. Good luck.

*** assuming you are already in the relashionship*** It will really depend on you and her. I would say that age doens't matter (within limits based on our society) and that it depends on your taste and hers. Some men like younger ladies and some like older and the samy applies to woman. Just make sure that you are in for the relationship and not just lust. Also think about maturity, if her maturity level is near yours or yours is near hers it will be a plus.
Also remember that you may have past through some life experiences that she may not yet like school and work or career. This may cause some tension in the relationship so make sure you two communicate well with one another.
Everything else will be just like any relationship, something you have to work at it day to day.

I always prefer husbands to be more elder than the wife. My husband is 8 years elder than me. the advantages u could enjoy ------
1 - u will love to stay with a young energitic and crazy girl.
2 - young girls r sweet,loving, caring and full of emotions...which will also drive u for emotinal and crazy thing....u wil start seeing world through her new eyes.
3 - most vital one is, the sex drive of girls fall after 40.......so, if u both remain of same age, at the age of 40(suppose) u will have full sex drive, but she wont feel that crazyness.......so, if u keep gap, u will get more time to have her sex drive also.
4 - when u will be aged enough, she will younger than u to take care of urself.

You're not too deep, are you? I think you should worry about the character and attitude of prospective mates AFTER you have met them.
Although, it does help to be prepared by know what constitutes good character and a good attitude. Jeez, but you have a shallow criteria of one item: age. And that has nothing to do with character OR attitude.

More important then age is comptability - simply find someone you true love and spend your life with them. Age is irrevelant. But I will say that my husband is 8 years older then me, I'm 29 and he's 37 and it's working out grand.

u could be dealing with a lot of immaturity.. and pettiness if u get a younger wife.. but then of course u'll also be getting a younger body.. so a lot more exciting for u..
