Do most people get the Monday after Easter off from work in big companies? Is that a regular paid holiday for jobs that give paid holidays?

I work in the government, and we get Good Friday off, but do not get the Monday after Easter. Our agency states that Easter is a "Christian" holiday, not a State holiday.

Some companies do give their employees either Good Friday off or Easter Monday off. But it is not required because it falls on a Sunday. Actually, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day are the seven holidays that most employers, state and federal departments observe and those are considered day off with pay.

I guess so. I get both Friday before Easter and Monday after Easter off.

The company I work for doesn't give you off for Easter.

No, but we have 2 'floating' holidays per year to use as we wish, and many people use them here. It's not a bank holiday.
