i need to video tape me doing something to do with the bad or good tactics and weapons of the allies during the normandy invasion.

You could be in a planning meeting and suggesting ideas for tactics

You could be a news reporter who has seen the invasion and are telling about it, what was the good and what were the bad ...

of course you would want to cover good: surprise, massive force, bombing preparations, attack along a wide front, independence of the soldiers, deception in getting Germans to think something different was happening

and the bad: attack straight on into entrenched positions, lost paratroopers behind the lines, bad information, bad weather, etc.
