I am just a loving sibling that wants to give her confused and shocked sister, informative and careful answers. It would be easy to simply blurt out nonsense on a subject I know nothing about. But I love her and for that matter, respect and love her husband as well. My opinion is highly valued by her and therefore my response, and reactions play a dangerous role in their lives. Look up information on Edward D. Wood, Jr., who apparently donned a bra and panties under his uniform as he fought on Tarawa in WWII. He is most definitely heterosexual if one looks at his later movie output. He made a movie (definitely in the running for Worst Movie--Plan Nine from Outer Space is a masterpiece by comparison!) called "Glen or Glenda?" in which he himself plays a man who crossdresses (in his famous angora sweater), while still remaining "normal" in other respects. Mr. Wood is NOT the best of transvestites, but he is a good and popular example of what you seem to refer to. Oh yeah, and Johnny Depp portrays him in the movie "Ed Wood." If you don't want to get all scholarly, it is worth the viewing just to watch Johnny camp it up!
