I'm an indirect tax advisor for a large accountancy firm! sounds so dull doesn't it?! I give VAT and Customs Duties advice.
I like it though, I generally spend my time problem solving or thinking up schemes for businesses and charities to save money. (when i'm not skiving on here - can't believe they haven't blocked this site yet!)

I do nothing for a living. Every month I scrutinise my Bank Statement to make sure the benefit money is in there. My wife and I might be thought of as scroungers because we get free prescriptions and free bus transport.
Oh! did I omit that we have both worked full time for most our lives and our reward was the Retirement Pension?

I'm a television engineer with a big telecommunications company. It's office work and not as much fun as the hands-on stuff I used to do. But the pay is excellent.
I do a little freelance writing, too, perhaps 10 articles a year.

I'm not working at the moment (hence this is why I am spending so much time here!), I am waiting for my start date to work for Central Government, but I cannot divulge where or what I will be doing, it's on a need to know basis.
