I have lots of worthless things. I think the most worthless is the box of crud I have that I keep saying I'll fix, when I know I'll never get around to it.

Worry.
Worrying never stops anything from happening. It just ruins the present moment which might be happy.
Don't worry about things you can't control. There's nothing you can do about them so no point worrying.
Don't worry about things you can control. If you can control it, then just do something about it. Take action. Worrying does nothing but tie you in knots for nothing. Take concrete steps toward a solution & you'll feel better.
Serenity prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can & the wisdom to know the difference.
Ok, easy for me to say but I'm a recovering "worrier"...a tough habit to break! I worry myself sick sometimes but I'm learning to be more positive & not worry so much because it really is useless & self-destructive!
