I draw to i find it relaxing! The thing i always do if i can't think of things to draw is i go to the walking park here and take pictures of the birds or the tree's and different thing like that! Another thing you can do is go to the library and find books with picture that interest you like maybe flowers, animals, trees, etc! I took a really nice picture of a humming bird and i draw it and now it is a big picture in my house over our fireplace!

I tend to sketch abstractly from digital photos I've taken. So I would say everyday life. If its something you were amped to take a photo of then it's obviously a subject you like. So my suggestion is everyday life.

I go outside on the deck or out to the pond and absorb the wind and nature and I am usually inspired. Some of my best paintings have been done that way.

People can't just tell you what to draw. Draw what you feel thats what I do. Draw something to show your emotions.

Fruit, still life. Picasso made a fortune out of it. Even if you can't draw a Picasso, don't give up !
