Anyone know of a logon script that could be used to map a computer straight to an IP based network printer?

Assuming you're talking Windows, you just need to install a standard TCP/IP printer port with the printer IP in it and you should be able to do direct IP printing to that printer.

Add printer, local printer, select a port, bottom option, create new port, standard tcp/ip port...

Well if you use windows, click on ADD PRINTER, NETWORK PRINTER and enter the IP!
