there there are many websites like skyandtelescope.com
and astronomy.com that will teach you about the sky and each has it's own magazine they have pritable sky maps soyou can find things in the sky as for the telescope it depends on what type it is reflector refractor or catidioptric
you need to sight the finder scope in to the main scope then
you will be able to find objects with it right now saturn is in the southwest in leo and a telescope will show it's rings

Try joining the local astronomy club. It is a great way to learn more about the night sky. They can teach you how to use a telescope. I also recommend buying or taking some books on astronomy and the night sky so you become familar with everything

This link to the web site below literally has all the astronomy clubs in the world on it. This should help you find the closest astronomy club to you.

Hope this helps.

Did you not get any booklets with your telescope? I just bought my grandson his first telescope and he loves it! To learn about astronomy start by going to your local library and checking out some books on astronomy. You can learn alot from these books. They tell you about space, etc. You can see some awesome things from a telescope. Books from the library are free to check out, or you can choose to invest in some books by buying them. That way they are yours to keep. Good luck with it. Hope you have a great time and learn alot about our outer space world!

Put your eye to the little hole and point the telescope to the sky.

The source has some good beginner guides. Start by looking at the Moon. Trust me, the Moon is worth looking at.
