how did these people graduate from grade school, let alone high school, or -gulp- college? if this isnt an indictment of the education system, i dont know what is...

It is true that good grammar, spelling, and form are placed at a low priority on these forums, but if I were to ask for comments on the subject I'd make certain that my question and narrative are in perfect form.

Please check your capitalization and use of contractions.

It is clear that this question has been posed previously. I suspect you will receive the same responses as before.

I'm not so much appalled here on this forum, because I figure it's mostly a casual setting and 'average everyday people' are submitting spontaneously. But I am highly appalled at so called 'professionals' on tv (mostly news anchors and company product commercials/advertisments) that are supposedly prepared and well practised beforehand-as well as being paid to speak and provide a dignified representation with accurateness-that consistently speak with double negatives, incomplete sentences, interruptions, inappropriate/lame jokes and other inappropriate behavior. Its very unbecoming and belittling to the U.S. television audience and consumers on many levels; they deserve alot more.

I have asked myself the same questions, and I am equally appalled. Unfortunately, nothing can be done, since Yahoo is not a champion of proper grammar and spelling...

Well, nobody's perfect. I spelled "anime" wrong the other day on a question, but nobody got angry.

i don't mind the no capitalization thing....the (dot, dot, dot) thing, but i do have a problem with the spelling!!!!
