My now preschool-age son has been eating them with his oatmeal for months to keep him regular (He used to have chronic constipation and the flax seeds helped to wean him off Miralax.) I think they would benefit my 9 month-old daughter, as she's still having problems adjusting to solids- straining and crying with every BM.

I never knew there was a concern. We've been doing the oatmeal thing with our son since age 1, but more for the omega3, -will have to check back.

Hi dont give your kids flax seed it is too harsh for their little systems and does cause stomach cramps buy some prune juice its great for kids it might seem like it cost a lot but they only need a little bit each day, dont buy white bread get used to wholemeal or multi grain there are a lot more vitamins in wholemeal, corn is good, friut and vegies, they will feel a lot better ,, good luck
