I have hair growing up almost half the length of the shaft. Is this normal? I thought the penis was supposed to be hairless. When I shave it it just grows back worse. When I see adult movies the penis is always hairless, am I just a freak?
Please help, I am so worried...

You're not a freak and there's nothing to be worried about. You've just got a little more hair than some people. I'm sure if you took every penis in the world and looked for hair, a lot of them would be like yours. The ones you see in movies and stuff are abnormally large and hairless because of either waxing or touch ups after filming. There's hair there for a reason. Hair is a form of protection against the environment. So, if it bugs you too much, see your doctor about getting rid of it. He may have some better ideas than shaving and waxing. Maybe laser hair removal if it's safe for a penis. But every man's different. Some just naturally have more hair than others. Not just in the nether-regions, but all over their body. Good luck and I hope you find something that works.

Unfortunately this condition is fairly common in circumcised men. The circumcision makes your skin too tight as the penis grows, so some of the pubic skin, which is hairy, is pulled up onto the shaft. There's really not much you can do except trim it if it bothers you. And when you're a father, don't let your sons be cut--no need for them to go through the same thing.

NO!!!!!!!!! You are NOT a freak. This is the case often with many men. Either let it be and don't let it bother you, or keep shaving the shaft from time to time. Those are the only solutions. Good luck.

Im sure the people in the movies have there stuff waxed! Everyone's bodies are different! Im sure you are not the only male with that! Don't worry about it! I dont think it is too big of a deal!

Like everything else, we are all different. Some people are hairy and some are smooth.
You are not a freak, you are just you and your hairy penis is normal for you. Don't worry about it.

hey, **** happens. I shave a third of my shaft because it gets hairy. Find a really good shaving cream like women use for their legs and then rinse with peroxide to avoid razor burn. You will need to do this every couple of days to stay nice and smooth. Good luck!

Porn stars are shaved/waxed... never take them as standard... (even in making love ways, time and techniques)

Most unusual, but nothing to worry about. I'd suggest talking to a doctor about safe ways to permanently remove the hair follicles.

theres nothing wrong, all men are different and hairier then others. those people in the movies are waxed from head to toe. they do their arms, legs etc dont go by them
